Quality Control Standards for Film-Fastening Wiggle Wire Clips

In greenhouse facilities such as agricultural greenhouses, the quality of film-fastening clips directly determines the firmness of greenhouse film fixation.
Appearance quality is a basic control point. Plastic-dipped clips shall have a smooth surface with uniform luster and no defects like cracks; galvanized clips shall be free from scratches, missing plating, zinc nodules, burrs and other issues to ensure the integrity of the anti-rust layer. This requirement not only guarantees a neat appearance but also prevents rust hazards caused by damaged protective layers.
Dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances are crucial for assembly compatibility. Key dimensions of clips, including length, height and spring wire diameter, must strictly comply with standards. When placed freely horizontally, the twist degree shall not exceed 20mm; when the middle is fixed and both ends hang freely, the straightness error shall be ≤30mm. This avoids the impact of dimensional deviations on the matching effect with grooves, ensuring smooth installation and tight fixation.
Material and protective performance are the core guarantees of durability. The selection of spring steel ensures the elasticity and strength of clips, while protective treatments such as galvanizing and plastic dipping enhance rust resistance. The strict requirement of 100-hour neutral salt spray test ensures that clips can maintain performance in harsh environments like humidity and extend their service life.
Performance testing is a key link in quality verification. As a core indicator, the rated film-fastening force is directly related to the greenhouse film’s ability to resist wind load, snow load, etc. Clips matching different types of grooves must meet the minimum film-fastening force requirements. Meanwhile, service life testing ensures that clips can maintain stable performance after multiple assembly and disassembly, avoiding the decline of film-fastening force due to repeated use.
